Chai Tea Smoothie
Chai is both town and country; it can be served at a swanky party or sipped at home alone, curled up with your favorite book. Chai is a tea, but is heavier like coffee, so it pleases the masses. Chai is versatile and can be served hot or cold, alone or mixed into a smoothie. You cannot go wrong with chai!

3 tablespoons Spiced Chai Tea powder
2 oz (1/4 cup) boiling water
1/2 cup cold nonfat milk or soy milk
2/3 cup crushed ice

1. Dissolve the tea in the boiling water.

2. Combine the dissolved tea and all other ingredients in a blender and puree.

Makes 1 serving.
